Ideas for future:

  • Have a field in the bgfx::Stats that indicates how many allocations are just dangling around in the cache.
  • Have a clear cache call in the API. That's useful to react to system requests to free memory, like on Android.

Please review:

  • Is this default setting of 128 MB sane? Is this fine for Mobile devices?
