avneetbansal-aws/README.md

Hi, I'm Avneet 👋

Senior Delivery Consultant at AWS ProServe. I work on cloud platform engineering — EKS/Kubernetes at scale, node autoscaling, GitOps, and AI/ML infrastructure and I contribute to the cloud-native open-source ecosystem I build on.

  • 🔭 Day to day: architecting and operating Kubernetes platforms (EKS, Karpenter, Istio, ArgoCD/Flux) and AI-driven infrastructure orchestration (Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore).
  • 🌱 Contributing across the CNCF ecosystem — KEDA, Argo, Velero, external-dns, cert-manager, Karpenter, and the AWS Controllers for Kubernetes (ACK) project.
  • 💬 Happy to talk about Kubernetes autoscaling, GPU/AI workloads on EKS, and running cloud-native platforms in production.
  • 🎤 Community speaker on Kubernetes, EKS, and production AI agents (Orlando AWS User Group, IEEE AIC 2026, and hands-on EKS/GenAI workshops).
  • 📜 Credentials: CKA · CKAD · CKS · AWS Solutions Architect Professional · AWS DevOps Engineer Professional · AWS GenAI Developer Professional · Prometheus Certified Associate · HashiCorp Terraform Associate.

Open-source libraries I authored

Original open-source projects I designed and built, released under the AWS aws-samples organization (MIT-0):

  • sample-textract-field-memory — a spatial field-location memory layer that sits after any OCR/extraction step. It learns where named fields appear on recurring layouts, then validates extractions, identifies document types, detects drift, and flags spatial anomalies. Zero dependencies, pure Python. Write-ups: Medium · dev.to.
  • sample-prompt-correction-memory — self-improving LLM document extraction on AWS. Each human QA correction improves future extractions through few-shot self-healing and deterministic rule graduation — no retraining, no redeployment, and costs decrease over time.

Contributions to independent CNCF / open-source projects

I contribute code and documentation fixes to independently governed open-source projects in my field — including KEDA (CNCF Graduated), Argo Rollouts, Velero, the community terraform-aws-eks module, and the official Ansible amazon.aws collection — accepted on their merits by the projects' own maintainers.
