This project was part of our senior design class at the California State University, Long Beach. Its purpose is to address an issue in society to encourage social interactivity and promoting physical exercise by connecting people to workout and exercise and track their progress.
Whatfits was a collaborative effort between Aaron Pham, Abram Villanueva, George Cheng, Longcheng Chi, and Roberto Sanchez.
Our goal for Whatfits is to unite people to workout with each other and track their progress. People can register as either a "Beginner", "Intermidate", or "Advance" based on their preference. Using the search feature you can find people in your area (Current scope is Los Angeles and Orange Counties) who share similar skill level. We have followers list to keep track of people you enjoyed working out with and included is a rating/review for each people you worked out.
The web app comes with the following features:

Registration
- Registers users to the web app
- Has vulnerable password protection (using Troy Hunt's Pwnd Password service)
- Validates address if their in Los Angeles County or Orange County (Only locations currently supported)
- Security Questions for Password Recovery

- Authenticates users into the website

- Controls what users can see and do on the web app

- Manages users on the web app

User Profile
- Displays the user's public information

Edit Profile
- Enables users to edit their public information.

Workout Logging
- Logs workouts based on whether its cardio or weightlifting and displays them on the user's profile

Chat
- Communicate between two registered users. They both need to follow each other to communicate.

- Reviews other Users based on meeting up with them
