A comprehensive collection of 152 browser-based tools built with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. Your files and text are processed in your browser — no uploads, no accounts required. Includes on-device AI tools (transcription, translation, summarization, image upscaling, and more) powered by Transformers.js.

Two caveats worth stating plainly, since "everything is local" is the headline claim:

Tools that run an AI model download the model weights from a third-party CDN the first time you use them. Your content still stays on your device; the model files come over the network.
Two tools genuinely need the network. Live Dictation uses the browser's Web Speech API, which in Chrome and Edge sends your audio to the browser vendor for recognition — don't use it for anything confidential. Currency Converter fetches exchange rates from an external API.

Language is detected from the browser on first visit and can be changed anytime via the in-app language switcher (preference is remembered).

Each language has its own indexable URLs — English stays at /tools/<slug>, every other locale sits under /<code>/tools/<slug> — with reciprocal hreflang alternates. Only the active locale's messages are sent to the browser, so adding a language does not grow anyone else's download.

Adding a new language is two steps — all locale wiring derives from one registry:

Add an entry to LOCALES in src/lib/locales.ts.
Add a messages/<code>.json file (a full translation of messages/en.json).

The switcher, <html lang/dir>, hreflang tags, sitemap entries, OpenGraph locales, and message loading all derive from that registry. A test fails if a registered locale has no on-page prose, so a language cannot ship half-wired.
