SME Adapter — User Guide

Turn your product information into a standard Asset Administration Shell (AAS) digital twin, without deep IT knowledge.


What is the SME Adapter?

A web tool for small and medium manufacturers. You enter your company and product data once, and the app publishes it as an AASX file that conforms to the IDTA submodel standards, ready for the Manufacturing-X dataspace.

How it works, in four steps

Fill these in order. Each screen reuses data from the ones before it.

1 Add your company as a manufacturer: name, address, logo. Manufacturer Details
2 Add contact persons for that company. Contact Information
3 Create a product and fill in its data (the submodels). Product Type
4 Export the product as an AASX file, or publish it. Generating AASX Files
