πŸ“Œ Infrastructure Setup with Terraform

πŸ›  Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

  • Terraform installed on your system
  • Azure Subscription with necessary permissions
  • Azure CLI authenticated
  • Ansible installed (for configuration management)
  • GitHub Actions enabled (for automation)

πŸš€ Setting Up the Infrastructure

Follow these steps to initialize and deploy your Terraform-managed cloud environment:

1️⃣ Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/XxrzxX/ChatBotApp-Azure-Infra
cd ChatBotApp-Azure-Infra

2️⃣ Initialize Terraform

cd Terraform
terraform init

This downloads and configures Terraform providers required for deployment.

3️⃣ Validate Configuration

terraform validate

Ensures your Terraform syntax and configurations are error-free.

4️⃣ Plan Deployment

terraform plan

Generates an execution plan, showing all changes Terraform will apply.

5️⃣ Apply Infrastructure Changes

terraform apply -auto-approve

Creates or updates the cloud resources as defined in your configuration.

6️⃣ Verify Resources

After successful deployment, confirm the infrastructure using Azure CLI:

az resource list --resource-group <your-resource-group>
