Feature/mcts lhns fixes

This is a little bit messy pull request, sorry.
It contains several improvements:

• It fixes several issues with ChatGPT and other models for MCTS-AHD and LHNS.
• It fixes some issues in the photonics problems (they did not run).
• It adds some statistical analysis helper functions.
