How to install

Vertex Client edited this page Jan 5, 2020 · 10 revisions

Requirements

  • BlockLauncher
  • A copy of Minecraft (PE)
  • Android 4.2 or up, stock Android or anything near is recommended (features and icons in the client can work/look worse on other devices)
  • At least about 0.25 MB of space for Vertex plus 32 MB for BlockLauncher (and even more for Minecraft). You'll also need some free space for Vertex resources, like images, logos and fonts.

Installation on BlockLauncher (as of today)

NOTE: Immersive/fullscreen mode is currently not supported with Vertex on BlockLauncher, the client will look and work better if you disable it in BlockLauncher's settings.

  1. Make sure you have both Minecraft Pocket Edition and BlockLauncher (free or Pro) installed
  2. Choose the edition you want and download the latest public release underneath 'Assets' (for the normal edition download Vertex_Client_PE.modpkg)
  3. Open BlockLauncher
  4. Tap on the wrench icon
  5. Select "Manage ModPE Scripts"
  6. Tap on the import button
  7. Select "Local storage"
  8. Search the modpkg file and import it into BlockLauncher
  9. Wait until Vertex Client PE says it's done downloading and let it restart (this process may not always happen, for example if you've used Vertex Client PE before, if it doesn't happen please restart BlockLauncher yourself)
  10. Done!

Installation on Toolbox (old versions)

  1. Make sure you have both Minecraft Pocket Edition and Toolbox installed
  2. Choose the edition you want and download the latest public release (for the normal edition download Vertex_Client_PE.modpkg and for the Air edtion download Vertex_Client_PE_Air.modpkg)
  3. Open Toolbox
  4. Tap on Launcher Options
  5. Tap on the ModPEs button
  6. Tap on the + button
  7. Search the file you downloaded and select it
  8. Go back to the game
  9. Wait until Vertex Client PE says it's done downloading and let it restart
  10. Done!
