The Generic Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM) and the Generic Activity Model for Statistical Organisation (GAMSO) are used by many statistical organisations for the standard-based modernisation. These models are periodically revised to ensure that they maintain their relevance.
This revision is conducted by a dedicated task team under the Supporting Standards Group of the High-Level Group for Modernisation of Official Statistics (HLG-MOS).
Based on the processing of suggestions received in the initial (2023) round of consultation, the task team has prepared a draft of GSBPM v5.2 for a further round of consultation (until 7 March 2025). Detail of Changes (GSBPM v5.2).docx
