I've modified the code so that it's compatible with PyPi repository. Then I did some optimization. I replaced the Pillow dependency by opencv 2. I did this because opencv works with numpy arrays natively. This removes the need for data copying. This turned out to be a big bottleneck on my computer and I've achieved 2x speedup by avoiding it.
