ScriptScratch is a comprehensive note-taking and analysis tool designed for the Chrome browser. This guide provides detailed instructions on the installation and usage of the extension, ensuring that users can fully leverage the capabilities of ScriptScratch.

Note Taking

• Quick and Easy Notes: Allows you to quickly take notes on any web page.
• Organized Notes: Store your notes in an organized manner, searchable by date and content.
• Search and Filter: Search and filter your notes using keywords.

Graphical Analysis

• Visit Statistics: View graphical analyses of the sites you have visited.
• Daily Active Time (DAT): Monitor the total time spent in Chrome daily. This feature resets every 24 hours, providing a fresh start each day.
• Various Chart Types: Visualize your data using pie, bar, line, and doughnut charts.
• Time Intervals: Select different time intervals (last 1 hour, last 1 day, last 1 week, last 1 month) to analyze your data.

Library Management

• Organize Notes: Organize your notes under customized titles and categories in your library.
• Title Customization: Personalize each note title for different topics.
• Progress Tracking: Track the progress of your notes in percentages.

Installation

1. Clone the repository or download the ZIP file.
2. Open Google Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/.
3. Enable "Developer mode" by toggling the switch in the top-right corner.
4. Click on "Load unpacked" and select the directory containing the ScriptScratch extension files.

Usage

1. Click on the ScriptScratch icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the popup.
2. Enter a task in the input field and set the date and time.
3. Click "Add Task" to save the task.
4. ScriptScratch will send a notification at the specified time.

Permissions

ScriptScratch requires the following permissions:

• history: To access the browsing history for graphical analysis.
• storage: To save and retrieve notes and settings.
• contextMenus: To add context menu options for quick note taking.
• activeTab: To interact with the current active tab for taking notes.
