I'm a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development (CBCD) at Birkbeck University. As part of the Physical Cognition Lab I explore how humans' physical and embodied experiences shape cognition and behavior across the lifespan.
My passion lies in making developmental science more accessible and reproducible. As part of this mission, I've created:
- DevStart: A comprehensive resource hub for developmental psychology researchers and students that we've developed collaboratively. DevStart provides accessible guides on research methodologies, eye-tracking techniques, statistical analysis, and much more!
Through this collective effort, we're creating a safe learning environment where both beginners and experienced researchers can develop their knowledge and skills in developmental psychology. This community-driven approach reflects our belief that science advances faster when we work together.
I'm a fanatic of linear models and their multiple facets - from linear to mixed models, generalized linear models, additive models, and especially Bayesian models (using Brms) . Statistical modeling is not just a tool for me, but a fascinating lens through which we can understand developmental processes.
