Usage:
- Right-click DolbyAtmosBinauralizer.cmd > Save Link As to download into an empty folder.
- Run script to check/download dependencies or manually download, extract and copy dependencies into the same folder:
- ffmpeg.exe - Required to extract the Atmos track and convert the final file to FLAC
- truehdd.exe (x86_64-pc-windows-msvc) - Required to convert TrueHD to Master file.
- CavernizeGUI.exe and its dependencies (other files included) - Required to convert Master to Limitless Audio File (LAF, Cavern's lossless spatial format)
- allafplay.exe - Required to convert LAF to binaural stereo CAF (used instead of WAV which it has size limits but converted to FLAC with ffmpeg since it's more compatible)
- OpenAL32.dll + alsoft.ini (OpenAL Soft configured for HRTF) - Required by allafplay to binauralize with HRTF (you can download a matching HRTF in MHR format or generate it from SOFA)
- Just drag and drop one or more files (like MKV, m2ts, etc.) into the main window or directly into
DolbyAtmosBinauralizer.cmd - Wait for it to finish conversion
- Expect to wait several minutes and large temporary files up to ~50GB for longer videos like full-length movies, so use an SSD if possible for faster conversion.
- Load FLAC as an external track in a media player that supports it (e.g. PotPlayer) and select it if not done automatically.
- Remember to disable any other HRTF (in the player, or system-wide like HeSuVi)
