Slave is not supported by Pymodbus 3.11.1 any longer. Needs to be replaced: slave= -> device_id=
Implement a method to ensure the Modbus client is connected before reading or writing registers. This includes handling reconnection attempts on connection errors, improving reliability during communication with the Modbus device.
Updated the link to the Smart Charging manual for clarity.
