📝 Description

This PR introduces a comprehensive self-guided job search framework for our graduates. The outline provides structured guidance for individuals or self-formed collaborative groups to navigate the job search process effectively without requiring formal program participation. It transforms program-specific content into a self-directed resource with daily schedules, weekly focus areas, and curated resources.

🔂 Changes Made

  • Created a markdown topic outline for self-guided job seekers
  • Developed a flexible daily schedule template adaptable for individual or group use
  • Organized technical and job search activities into weekly focus areas (20-week framework)
  • Curated relevant resources for each topic area with links
  • Added detailed breakdowns for key activities (code challenges, networking, applications, etc.)
  • Removed all references to formal graduate seeker program structures and reframed as independent/collaborative activities
  • Included getting started steps for immediate implementation

New Topic Outline

🎁 Acceptance Criteria

  • Content is accessible and valuable for independent job seekers without program support
  • All program-specific references have been removed or appropriately reframed
  • Daily schedule provides clear structure while remaining flexible for individual needs
  • Resources are properly linked and accessible
  • Framework addresses both technical skill development and job search activities

🧪 How to test or what to evaluate

  • Review the outline for any remaining program-specific language or references
  • Verify all resource links are valid and accessible
  • Evaluate whether the daily schedule is realistic and adaptable
  • Check that the weekly focus areas provide a logical progression
  • Confirm the content is equally valuable for individual job seekers and collaborative groups
  • Test the framework by having a recent graduate attempt to follow it for one week
