This tool helps you find companies that use Ashby-hosted job boards and career pages. It scans many websites to discover real company job listings powered by Ashby. The tool checks that listings are genuine and collects company info into easy-to-use CSV and JSON files.
You do not need to know coding or any technical skills. The software runs on Windows and handles everything automatically once set up.

On the page that opens, look for the latest release or download link.

Download the Windows installer or executable file provided.

Save the file to your Desktop or another easy-to-find folder.
Before you install, make sure your computer meets these needs:
- Windows 10 or later
- At least 4 GB of RAM
- 500 MB free disk space
- An active internet connection
- Standard user account with permission to install programs
This application runs on standard Windows PCs without complex setup.

Locate the downloaded file, usually in your Downloads folder.

Double-click the installer file. The file name may look like

Follow the prompts:
- Click Next when the installer opens.
- Review and accept the license agreement.
- Choose the installation folder or stick with the default.
- Let the installer complete the process.

Click Finish when the installer ends successfully.

You should now see a new shortcut on your Desktop or in your Start Menu.

Double-click the shortcut on your Desktop or open it from the Start Menu.

The program window will open. You will see simple instructions on the main screen.

You do not need to enter any special codes or settings to start the discovery process.

Click the Start Scan button.

The software will begin searching and gathering company data in the background.

You can watch progress in the status area.

When the scan finishes, your data files (CSV and JSON) will be saved automatically in the program's folder or a folder you choose.
The tool saves company lists in two formats:
- CSV files: Open these with Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet program.
- JSON files: Open these with text editors or software designed to read JSON.
By default, files are saved to a folder called Exports inside the installation directory. You can change this path in the settings.
Each file includes:
- Company names
- Verified Ashby job board URLs
- Additional info like location or industry (when available)
- Automatic detection of Ashby job boards across hundreds of websites
- Verification ensures only real and active company career pages are included
- Async data extraction lets the tool work fast without freezing your PC

- Make sure you have a stable internet connection during scans.
- Close other heavy programs to keep your PC responsive.
- Check that Windows Defender or other antivirus programs do not block the software.
- Run the program regularly if you want to keep your company list updated.
- If you see errors, restarting your PC often solves simple issues.
You can adjust how the software works in the Settings menu:
- Set how many web pages it scans at once to control speed.
- Choose where exported data is saved.
- Enable or disable notifications for scan progress.
Most users can leave default settings as they are.
Do I need an account?
No account or login is needed.
Will this slow down my computer?
It uses background processes that should not affect normal work.
Can I pause or stop scans?
Yes, use the Pause or Stop buttons anytime.
If the program does not start:
- Verify you installed the latest version.
- Make sure your Windows is up to date.
- Try running the program as Administrator (Right-click → Run as Administrator).
If you get errors during scanning:
- Check your internet connection.
- Restart the program and run again.
- Temporarily disable firewall or antivirus that might block web access.
