Unicopia 1.3.20 (BETA) for Minecraft 1.21.1-1.21.2
This update changes a few things for pegasi. Since the way it calculates velocity on the server is different (as in, I have to calculate it because players don't normally have velocity on the server as of a few mc versions ago >.>) a minor side-effect of that is some things that were probably increased to compensate for it (like running into walls) may become super common.
I've also added a config to revert the behaviour in case any one is encountering issues. In the server section of the config, you would set disableExperimentalServerVelocityFix to true to revert it back to how flight worked before.
If everything goes well, this will be the last update before I switch focus to getting the mod ported to 1.21.10/11 and above.

Recipes

Unicorns
- Added a new telekinesis ability for unicorns!
- Use the ability whilst holding an item to levitated it. Items in your levitation will function as if you're holding it. You can use them on blocks and entities or punch a block you want them to start mining. The ability will automatically select the item best suited for mining the block you target.
- Punching a block whilst an item is already mining it will assign more items to mine it even faster!
- Levitate entities by using the ability whilst looking at them
- When you look at an item or entity you're levitating you will have a few options like changing its position or telling it to stay where it is rather than following you.
Kirins
- Kirins now gain rage more often when attacking mobs
- Kirins now gain more rage when killing mobs
- Adjusted the duration and cost of the Kirins' rage ability
Item Components
- Added unicopia:item_after_dragon_breath component. Items with this component will be replaced with the target item when it is sent via the dragon breath scroll.

- Fixed pineapples dropping too many
- Magic feathers are now accepted in any and all recipes that expect a feather

Hot Air Balloon
- You can now ride the hot air balloon by right-clicking the basket with an empty hand. Riding it will place you into one of 4 positions in the basket, or 16 positions on top of the balloon.
Note: This is still a work in progress and you currently cannot control the hot air balloon whilst riding it, nor can you interact with it from above to get into the top balloon riding positions.
Mimics
- Mimics will now drop any items you place inside them when they trigger
- Mining a mimic chest has the potential to trigger a mimic
Magic
- The life sapping spell now heals recipients properly and will take health from hostile entities to give to non-hostiles and the owner rather than distributing indiscriminately
- Added an attribute to show whether the life sapping spell is inverted or not. When inverted it will only give health to the player who cast it (and their comrades)
Flight
- Flight is no longer cancelled immediately when taking off whilst touching water
- Flight no longer cancels immediately when bumping into obstacles
- Stopping flying will now also stop a pegasus' active rainboom #568
