Description
I have been using this generator the last 2 years and its NO DOUBT my favorite. It hasnt been working the last 3 months, and i was wondering if anyone has a solution to this. I have tried changing the GPU i use to run it. (I don`t run locally. I use the online version of it)

Use Ultimate RVC
AnimationEnthusiast commentedon Mar 18, 2025
I tried using this; https://colab.research.google.com/github/JackismyShephard/ultimate-rvc/blob/main/notebooks/ultimate_rvc_colab.ipynb#scrollTo=lVGNygIa0F_2
but when it comes to making characters sing, it seems alot worse compared to the previous colab. Are there any setting i should tweak in order to make it sound better in this version? The difference is HUGE compared to the previous one.

@AnimationEnthusiast Maintainer of ultimate rvc here. Can you be more specific about where ultimate rvc is lacking? I have heard this complaint before but it is hard for me to fix it without more specific details
What you can do yourself in the meantime is use the multi step generation tab to help pin point where the issue occurs. I suspect it is either during vocal separation or vocal conversion. Once you know that you can fiddle with the settings.
Also I would appreciate if you raise this as an issue on the repo for ultimate rvc itself. There you can also see similar issues from other people.

And additionally, perhaps you could provide me with a song and voice model for which you observe inferior output? Then I can use that for debugging

Hey there @JackismyShephard I will post an issue over there soon, but when I generate a song with a specific voice, they sound way different and don't 'carry the singing emphasis' of the original voice in the generated song. When generated with Ultimate RVC, it sounds bland, or emotion less.

@NemosProjects Ideally share a specific song and voice model I can use for debugging. Otherwise this will be difficult.
