This project presents a Tableau dashboard that visualizes and analyzes car sales performance (2020–2021) across multiple business dimensions — including time, region, body style, color, and manufacturer.
The goal is to provide a clear, interactive view of overall sales performance, help stakeholders monitor YoY growth, and identify the key contributors driving total revenue.
Below is the main view of the Tableau dashboard:
| Metric | Value | Insight |
|---|---|---|
| YTD Total Sales | $371.19 M | Represents total revenue; 23.59 % YoY growth shows strong recovery post-pandemic. |
| YTD Cars Sold | 13.26 K units | Indicates 24.57 % YoY increase — volume growth aligns with revenue trend. |
| YTD Avg. Price | $27.99 K | Slight -0.79 % YoY dip, suggesting higher unit sales achieved through moderate discounting or shift toward lower-priced models. |
- The weekly trend shows consistent growth, peaking near week 48 ($15.53 M) — suggesting strong year-end sales activity (holiday promotions or clearances).
- The lowest sales (~$0.30 M) occur early in the year, possibly reflecting early-quarter slowdowns or pandemic impact.
- Overall, the trend indicates sustained market recovery and effective demand generation.
