GiFfer is a web-based tool that allows you to manipulate and play with GIFs in real-time. You can apply various effects, control playback speed, rotate, scale, and even pixelate, censor, or blur specific regions of the GIF. It's a fun and interactive way to edit GIFs directly in your browser!
- Playback Controls: Play, pause, reverse, or bounce the GIF.
- Speed Control: Adjust the playback speed of the GIF.
- Transformations: Rotate and scale the GIF.
- Effects: Apply grayscale, invert colors, or mirror the GIF.
- Region Effects: Pixelate, censor, or blur specific regions of the GIF.
- URL Input: Load a GIF directly from a URL or via the address bar hash fragment.
You can load a GIF in two ways:
- Via URL Input: Enter the GIF URL in the input field and press Enter.
- Via Address Bar: Append the GIF URL after the
#
in the address bar. For example: https://yourdomain.com#https://example.com/your-gif.gif
- Play/Pause: Toggle between playing and pausing the GIF.
- Next/Previous Frame: Manually move forward or backward through the frames.
- Play Direction: Choose to play the GIF forward, backward, or in a bouncing loop.
- Speed Control: Adjust the playback speed using the speed slider.
- Rotate: Rotate the GIF using the rotate slider.
- Scale: Resize the GIF using the scale slider.
- Grayscale: Convert the GIF to grayscale.
- Invert: Invert the colors of the GIF.
- Mirror: Flip the GIF horizontally.
- Pixelate: Select a region to pixelate.
- Censor: Select a region to censor with a black bar.
- Blur: Select a region to blur.
To apply region effects:
- Click the Pixelate, Censor, or Blur button.
- Click and drag on the GIF to select the region you want to apply the effect to.
- Click the Reset button to clear all effects and reset the GIF to its original state.
