I'm a software engineer with 2+ years of professional experience building secure, scalable backend systems and a background that makes me a little different from most engineers you'll meet.

After nearly a decade as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, I transitioned into tech in 2020 with a clear mission: build better software for the industries that need it most. I've since worked professionally with Elixir, Ruby on Rails, and PostgreSQL, with a focus on API integration, authentication systems, and database architecture.

Lately I've been expanding my toolkit into full-stack engineering, AI-assisted development, and TypeScript along with recently earning certifications in Full-Stack, Front-End, Back-End, and Python development, and building projects that integrate LLM APIs and automated workflows.
