Corresponding PR to RustAudio/coreaudio-rs#128. Will finish this once that merges and is released.

Thanks for the PR. Could you ping me once the new coreaudio releases? I don't like depending on beta releases in master.

Sure thing, mostly rebased onto the beta to make for easier testing in RustAudio/coreaudio-rs#132. I'll convert it to a draft again.

Yeah, part of me doing a beta release is just for transparency and showing some testing. If things do break, at least I tried and wrote it down.
