PlasticSheetsFX – Industrial Control System

An academic project simulating an industrial control system for managing and monitoring the production of greenhouse plastic sheets. Built with Java, JavaFX, and MySQL, it provides process control, real-time monitoring, and productivity tracking.

Project Structure and Files

• FX2/ – Main project folder containing all source code and configurations.

• LinesProductivity_Updated.CSV.csv – CSV file containing updated productivity data for analysis.
• db.sql – SQL script for creating and initializing the project database.
• IntelliJ IDEA - הוראות התקנה.pdf – Installation instructions for IntelliJ IDEA IDE.
• pdf.הוראות התקנה פרויקט - רותם ולידור – Installation guide for the project.

Installation & Setup

1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/your-username/PlasticSheetsFX.git
2. Open the project in IntelliJ IDEA (or any preferred IDE).
3. Import Maven dependencies (should be resolved automatically).
4. Set up the database:

• Run db.sql in MySQL to create the schema and tables.
• Configure database connection in the project (if needed).

5. Run the application: Use IntelliJ IDEA → Run Main.

Note

In addition to this README file, there is a dedicated file called "pdf.הוראות התקנה פרויקט - רותם ולידור" that provides complete explanations of the project installation and running processes.
