Step One: Installing MelonLoader
- Quit Sledders if running
- Download MelonLoader here
- Run the exe, select Sledders, and install
- Start Sledders once, then quit again
- Download the .dll file here
- Move the .dll file to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sledders\Mods- Your location may be different
- In Steam: Library -> Right Click Sledders -> Manage -> Browse local files -> open the Mods folder
- Load Sledders
- Start a local game or join a lobby
- Open the vehicle select / garage menu
- Click SLED SETUP to open the native Alpine setup tab
- Use the tabs to work through the setup:
- Track: choose paddle tracks, limiter strap setup, rear shock setup, and rear spring setup
- Engine: choose engine block, pistons, crank, intake/exhaust, turbo, and view boost estimates
- Clutching: choose clutch calibration, clutch weights, ratio feel, and clutch trim
- Suspension: adjust suspension, chassis, skis/stance, and setup trims
- Lighting: adjust headlight color, brightness, beam/focus, aim, and the headlight toggle binding
- Performance: view estimated stat bars and an estimated power curve compared to stock
- Setup Slots: save, equip, duplicate, rename, or remove setup slots
- Multiplayer: currently disbaled and non-operational P2P tune sharing and tune replication
- Guide: read short explanations for categories, statuses, units, and limitations
- Settings: choose Metric or Imperial units and toggle Advanced Details
- Changes are preserved automatically for the selected sled
- Use Test Ride when you want to reload the current sled for a test
- Use Reset to Stock from Setup Slots to reset Alpine tuning fields
The pause menu version is compact and only exposes Setup Slots and Multiplayer.
Use the garage / vehicle select menu for the full tuner.
Alpine Tuning uses setup parts for normal users and keeps raw physics values behind Advanced Details.
- Engine Output is shown as kW in Metric and hp in Imperial.
- Weight is shown as kg in Metric and lb in Imperial.
- Track Bite replaces raw friction in the normal UI.
- Ready for next ride means the setup is saved and will equip when that sled spawns or reloads.
- Performance Estimate is a garage estimate based on setup parts and Alpine tune math, not a measured dyno result.
Networked Tune sharing is currently being redeveloped and options for P2P data transfers are being explored.
- The Long Track Kit changes handling, track bite, weight, and balance to behave more like a longer track. Visual track length is not supported.
- Live telemetry such as RPM, speed, boost, slip, and heat is not required for the current Performance Estimate. A future version may add a live ride data panel.
- Peer sharing is currently a no-op system until options for networking are discovered and tested.
