Repository of NIST Cone Calorimeter Data
Run the following command to install the required packages:
pip install -r requirements.txt
Raw data should be placed in the data/raw
folder; folder structure doesn't matter. Run the scripts from the root of the repository, parse-FTT.py
for FTT-formatted files and parse-MIDAS.py
for MIDAS-formatted files. HRR, mass flow rate, and Ksmoke (if available) data is calculated from the raw/scaled input data.
Files in the standardized format are saved in the data/auto-processed
folder.

Empty / undefined values are null
in the metadata file.

Events are stored as a list of JSON objects, each with the following properties:

Note that data is shifted to remove the start time - for example, if the start time is 50 seconds, then the first 50 seconds are used to calculate the baseline, then removed so that t=50 is now t=0.
