PSP 1K Retail to Testing Tool

Prerequisites / Notes

• You need a 1K model PSP.

Setup

1. Download ChronoSwitch

2. Download 6.60 OFW Update ( RENAME IT TO EBOOT.PBP )

3. Download 6.60TT-A ( DO NOT RENAME YET )

4. Download psp_cex2dex by Yoti

5. Download ARK4.zip from here

6. Extract ChronoSwitch to your Memory Stick (folder structure is already setup in the zip just drag and drop next to your PSP folder on your Memory Stick and merge if asked)

7. Extract Cex2DexConverter to your Memory Stick (folder structure is already setup in the zip just drag and drop next to your PSP folder on your Memory Stick and merge if asked)

8. Extract ARK Loader to PSP/GAME/

9. Extract ARK_01234 to PSP/SAVEDATA/

10. On your Memory Stick make a directory in PSP/GAME called UPDATE

11. Move the 6.60 Update (now named EBOOT.PBP remember?) to the UPDATE folder

12. Make sure you safely eject your PSP/Memory Stick from the PC

Fun stuff

1. Run ChronoSwitch accept all the stuff and downgrade to 6.60.

2. Run ARK Loader

3. Connect your PSP/Memory Stick back to the computer and now rename 660TT.pbp to EBOOT.PBP and place in PSP/GAME/UPDATE/ overwriting the 6.60 Update.

4. Make sure you safely eject your PSP/Memory Stick from the PC

5. Run cex2dex and convert your PSP to run Dev Firmware

6. Run the 6.60 Testing Tools firmware. You will have to manually reboot once it finishes.

7. Run ARK Loader again.

8. Finish Setup ARK-4 cIPL

9. Profit
