Add file selector - #14
Conversation
Add an in-app tree browser for a host directory bind-mounted into the container. When LOCAL_DATA_DIR points at an existing directory, the upload widget renders a sandboxed file tree in online mode and writes picked paths to the existing external_files.txt, so workflows reference the files in place without copying them into the workspace volume. Offline tkinter flow is unchanged. https://claude.ai/code/session_01D8nvwaRQpEYTuUdKemPtkn
Replace full-width folder buttons with a single st.pills row, render breadcrumbs as tertiary buttons separated by » with the Parent button right-aligned, and add dividers so the header, navigation, listing and add-action regions are visually separated. File checkbox rows are unchanged. https://claude.ai/code/session_01D8nvwaRQpEYTuUdKemPtkn
Drop the inner dividers and the st.pills row. Each subfolder now renders as its own tertiary button styled like the file checkbox rows (folder icon + name, no checkbox); clicking navigates. The result is a single vertically-stacked list where folders and files share form factor and the 📂 vs 📄 icons mark the distinction. https://claude.ai/code/session_01D8nvwaRQpEYTuUdKemPtkn
Inject a small CSS block to cut the vertical padding on tertiary buttons so folder rows render at checkbox-row height, and wrap each folder button in a 2-column row so the 📂 icon aligns with the 📄 icon on the file checkboxes below it. https://claude.ai/code/session_01D8nvwaRQpEYTuUdKemPtkn
Read the mount root from settings.local_data_dir instead of the LOCAL_DATA_DIR env var; the Docker image now ships with local_data_dir defaulted to /mounted-data via a jq step in Dockerfile, so binding a host volume at /mounted-data is the only thing a user needs to do — the browser auto-renders whenever the directory exists. Also fix the example-fallback guard in upload_widget so that picks written to external_files.txt count as "files exist" and the example data files no longer override mounted-drive selections. https://claude.ai/code/session_01D8nvwaRQpEYTuUdKemPtkn
