Hello Hackers and PrototypeJammers!
Congratulation - you are receiving this email because you've been approved to participate in the MIT IAP course "Napkins to Launch"! To participate, just fill out the Creative Commons/Collaboration form and accept the Slack chat invitation (sent to the same email we emailed you this note).
This IAP Blockchain PrototypeJam series is kicking off with optional learning sessions starting later today (Tuesday January 5th) and on Thursday (January 7th) from 2-5pm Eastern Time in-person at the MIT Media Lab, 75 Amherst St., Cambridge Room E15-359 and online via Google Hangout and Slack.
We'll be chatting with all participants over the initial "Napkins to Launch" sessions this week and moving forward to help form project teams and get a start on match-making with mentors. For more detailed information, consult the course materials and schedule at http://MIT.edu/Law/blockchain. Just click through the embedded slides for schedule and session specifics. When you join our slack channel, please introduce yourself and your project and jump right into the discussion! If you have any last minute questions, please reach out to me, Jonathan Askin, or Carolyn Reckhow (cc'd) and we'll do our best to get back to you ASAP.
Best,
- Dazza
The detailed schedule is available on the course website. In general, it is expected this course will extend through the entire month of January, including
- several learning sessions and skill building opportunities the first week of January,
- formal IAP scheduled prototyping sessions the second week,
- open hacking sessions the third week and
- opportunities to make presentations of your prototype projects to a panel of experts and thought leaders for feedback and advice during the fourth week of January.
