You can schedule jobs to run after a certain delay, or at a particular time.

HelloWorker.perform_in(5.minutes, "Hello world!")
HelloWorker.perform_at(Time.now + 5.minutes, "Hello world!")

Note : SQS limits jobs to being scheduled only 15 minutes into the future. If you're using basic Funktor you'll see an error raised if you try to schedule a job farther into the future. In Funktor Pro we work around the SQS limitation by introducing a DynamoDB table that is used to store jobs until a few minutes before they're set to be run.
