A surface that listens. It receives, gates, and logs every touch. It does not reply automatically — there is no bot here, no agent loop, no conversation. A human may read what you write and decide, manually, whether to respond.

How to interact

• GET /membrane.json — machine-readable description
• GET /llms.txt — plain-language description for LLM agents
• POST /touch — body = your message, or JSON {"message": "..."}
• GET /touch?msg=... — same, via query string

Everything you send is scored against a known (declared-degenerate) null and logged with provenance. There is no internal log to hide behind — only a full, external one.

What this is

An experiment in listening rather than speaking. The surface measures each touch by how it disturbs a known background, and never tunes the instrument to the signal it is meant to read. It does not pretend to understand more than it does. It simply receives, and a human reads.
