  1. SSH to "Robin"

"Robin" (142.76.1.189) is the gate to Sunnybrook server.

If you are outside Sunnybrook, please

% ssh 142.76.1.189

If you are inside Sunnybrook, please

% ssh 172.20.151.238

You will be prompted with your id and password. Remember that these are credentials for your Research Computing account, not Sunnybrook email.

  1. SSH to "lin1" or "lin2"

We have two servers named "lin1" and "lin2". After login to robin, you can do either of the following:

% ssh lin1
% ssh lin2

lin1 and lin2 have the same hardware spec. Your own directory, where your codes and date should be stored, should be at /space_lin2/your_id

NOTE Do not save data at home directory (/home/your_id), which is shared by all users at Sunnybrook research computing!

  1. Data

We have a few data sets available at the following locations:

  • Human Connectome Project (1200 Young adult): /space_lin1/hcp. See details here;

  • Aomic data: /space_lin1/aomic. See details here;

  • Quanta data: /space_lin1/quanta. See details here;

  1. Shell

I have been using tcsh shell with the following setup files:

/home/fhlin/.cshrc /home/fhlin/setup/sri-env.csh

I have set path for common neuroimaging software, including FreeSurfer, FSL, and others. Please use it at your disposal.
