01. lab server access
- SSH to "Robin"
"Robin" (142.76.1.189) is the gate to Sunnybrook server.
If you are outside Sunnybrook, please
% ssh 142.76.1.189
If you are inside Sunnybrook, please
% ssh 172.20.151.238
You will be prompted with your id and password. Remember that these are credentials for your Research Computing account, not Sunnybrook email.
- SSH to "lin1" or "lin2"
We have two servers named "lin1" and "lin2". After login to robin, you can do either of the following:
% ssh lin1
% ssh lin2
lin1 and lin2 have the same hardware spec. Your own directory, where your codes and date should be stored, should be at /space_lin2/your_id
NOTE Do not save data at home directory (/home/your_id), which is shared by all users at Sunnybrook research computing!

I have been using tcsh shell with the following setup files:
/home/fhlin/.cshrc /home/fhlin/setup/sri-env.csh
I have set path for common neuroimaging software, including FreeSurfer, FSL, and others. Please use it at your disposal.
