  1. Install Bermuda
  2. Make sure you have at least three bluetooth_proxy devices
  3. Activate the entities "Distance to xxx"
  • Click on the Bermuda integration
  • Click on devices Step 1
  • Click on one of your devices (you have to do this for all devices you want to track. Step 2
  • Scroll down and click on the "+XX inactive entities"
  • Click on "Distance to xxx"
  • Click the cog
  • Activate the device
  1. Install BLE Positioning System (BPS) through HACS

Notes

  • You need at least 3 active *_distance_to_* sensors for trilateration.
  • If your system cannot install BPS due to scipy/meson build environment errors, this is a host/dependency issue (not a floor-plan setup issue). Track status in issue #1.
