This repository centralizes useful resources related the strong lens modeling package Herculens.
Here is the list of available example notebooks:
- Starting guide: Lens modeling with gradient descent, Fisher analysis and Hamiltonian sampling
- Full lens modeling with smooth profiles and pixelated wavelets
- Modeling a lensed spiral source with a Sérsic profile + wavelets
- Modeling the same lensed spiral with a (better) correlated field model + NumPyro VI
- Modeling the same lensed spiral with the correlated field model + NIFTy-based VI
- Detection of a dark satellite as a localized deviation to the smooth lens potential
- Bayesian wavelet modeling of a spiral galaxy with (Laplace) sparsifying priors
- Simple smooth light profile fitting
- Reconstruction of a lensed quasar and its complex host with wavelets
- Fast GPU-boosted lensed quasar simulations
- Rundown of a fitting sequence: from MAP optimization to HMC sampling with correlated fields
- Multi-band modelling with source correlations along the wavelength dimension
- Modelling of a Euclid-Q1 strong lens with a correlated field
New notebooks will be added soon! Moreover please do not hesitate to reach out for suggestions of new examples.
