…ting. In February 2025, the PostGIS extension v3.3 is available for the version 15 of Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server. Use that same version in local development.
This is because in Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server v15, ordinary users (without the azure_pg_admin role) cannot create extensions. These extensions need to be created before deploying this service into the cloud.
