Hi, unfortunately this does not solve the underlying issue of file permissions. When doing this trick, the containers run under UID non-0 and try to setup files and folders as such, but since it is root that is eventually running it, permissions are "root". We get build errors later due to this inconsistency. This was replicated on call with @ZenGround0 a few days ago. |

Made this change to get building working on my machine (where I run as root)
I'll keep this in draft until I confirm it doesn't mess anything up when running localnet.
