In this PR, the following features are to be added:

  • cbar limit hardcoding into multiple-level trends class and multiple maps functions
  • Exposing cbar limits into ocean trends Cli. (Currently it's Thetao: 1.5 °C/yr, SO: 0.2 psu/yr)
  • Only Plotting Two plots for MLD (Southern and Northern Hemisphere with Polar projection)
  • Update the MLD_cli

Hi @tovaz92 , I guess you are handling the seaice now. Do you face the issue of labeling longitude in antarctic region?

Hi, I am not experiencing this issue. The ticks are handled by the changes I did at #2660; and seaice case should not differ much from yours I believe.
For seaice, I used the changes in 2660, together with those in: DestinE-Climate-DT/AQUA-diagnostics#125, hopefully the code can be adapted also to MLD depth.

Btw, I am not sure if we are supposed to insert the gridlines also in the 0.19, @oloapinivad do you have a feedback on this?

p.s. A thing I am noticing, is that the gridlines should be visible everywhere, you can adjust this with zorder.

IMHO, no need to port gridlines in operational

@ghossh it looks nice, I would maybe extend a few degrees south/north since a portion of Labrador sea deep water formation might be just on the edge. Only use a different color scale, viridis should be ok

@jhardenberg I've changed in the config file, I've changed the stratification config file. Now, the mld plot looks like this:

hi Supriyo, thanks it looks nice!
As discussed, I would change the color palette and set different maximum for southern and nothern hemisphere
probably I would also remove lon/lat labels which are a bit "noisy"

I ran this branch on [climatedt-gen2/IFS-NEMO/baseline-hist ](https://dev-climatedt-internal-dashboard.2.rahtiapp.fi/aqua?s=(e~!climatedt-gen2!IFS-NEMO-5km!baseline-hist!r1) (click for dashboard) but the figures are like this:

The trends are still like this ... so we need a narrower color scale for both temperature and salinity

zonal trend plotting was switched off
