No output to stdout or txt file when running on trimmed fastq

It's not clear what exactly causes this issue. It arises when I accidentally ran Flexiplex on a FASTQ already trimmed by BLAZE, and is fixed once I use an untrimmed FASTQ.

When running on the trimmed fastq, the progress messages are printed normally, and the process exits normally, but nothing written to stdout or to the barcode text file.

How are you running Flexiplex? Can you show what the output (stderr) looks like? And a sample of the trimmed input fastq?
