I had envisioned that there would be a separate RFC for this enhancement instead of it being rolled into the existing DS RFC. I do see the benefit of rolling the DS specific changes that allow integration with Config Admin into the existing DS RFC, however there are other parts of the design that are not part of the DS design and architecture. This is why I feel that a separate RFC is necessary.
