Proposed change

Add a DEVELOPERS.md which explains how to test changes to BubbleCard

Type of change

  • Bugfix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)
  • New feature (thank you!)
  • Breaking change (fix/feature causing existing functionality to break)
  • Code quality improvements to existing code or addition of tests

Additional information

This took me a bit to figure out so I thought I'd document it.

Hi! And thank you so much for your PRs!

Just a question, because my approach is a bit different. If you are using HACS, I guess you need to update it after each modification? Personally, I use the "Samba share" add-on in HA, so I can access my server over my network, mount it, build directly in it (with the webpack --watch command), and test my changes right away.

No worries - I discovered BubbleCard 2 weeks ago and love it. Thanks for all your hard work on it.

Yes, the SMB method sounds like it would be faster than using HACS. For my case I'm often on the road so sharing over SMB would involve setting up tailscale or similar.

We should add the SMB method to the doc though. Do you want to do that in a follow up PR ?

Any chance we can get some of these merged ? I want to fix the calendar card for my wife :)
