Performance Problems?

Please understand that Aimmy usually doesn't work well on computers without the following specs: CPU: minimum 4 cores (ex. i3 12100F) RAM: 8 GB GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970 or __equivalent __

Normally, if your GPU is considered "VR-READY" you can run aimmy. It'll barely work on the gtx 900s, but it worked for most i've seen. Anything below that isn't going to.

Heres what the docs of ONNXRuntime says:

The DirectML execution provider requires a DirectX 12 capable device. Almost all commercially-available graphics cards released in the last several years support DirectX 12. Here are some examples of compatible hardware:

NVIDIA Kepler (GTX 600 series) and above
AMD GCN 1st Gen (Radeon HD 7000 series) and above
Intel Haswell (4th-gen core) HD Integrated Graphics and above
Qualcomm Adreno 600 and above

Method 1

  1. Open Task Manager
  2. Go to Details
  3. Find AimmyWPF.exe (or the scrambled version, which you can find the name of in your File Explorer; for example: whgPtxc.exe)
  4. Right click
  5. Set priority
  6. Click anything higher than "normal" on the set priority list.

Method 2

Run aimmy on high performance by doing the following:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to Game Mode
  3. Graphics
  4. Click Browse and find aimmywpf.exe
  5. Select AimmyWPF.exe and set it to run as high performance and to make sure nothing else happens run it as admin.
