Storing the top-level node name in the data items wasn't very useful in practice

Are you specifying the id field on the DocDb target? You should be able to specify an id field in the source (which will store the Firebase id in a field with that name in the data items that are read) and the specify the same id field name in the target to use that value as the Cosmos id.

This allows migrating documents from different nodes into a single Cosmos collection while avoiding ID conflicts.
