Looks like all similar projects have been unmaintained for years. The handlebars ecosystem in Go is pretty dead.

We could consider something like pongo2 which has Jinja-style syntax. It's a breaking change, but not a huge one.

Realistically, we have no urgency in replacing the unmaintained dependency, so don't need to rush anything.

Vendoring raymond is also an option, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to adopt more code to maintain.

Ooft. Implementing Jinja would still be a pretty big process. Thinking of all the tests and documentation as well. Looking at Raymond, seems like the project itself hasn't been updated in ~10 years anyway and zk has been running with it all this time.

So maybe we can just leave this untouched until it's a problem? Or until we want to do some larger change to templating?
