How to disable delayed auto-insertion of letters / predictive text?

Hello,

I can’t find where to turn off the delayed auto-completion/auto-insertion of letters. It’s seriously interfering with my work.
On the attached video you can see an example: I have already typed the letter “s” myself, but the system still inserts another “s” with a short delay. If I move the cursor elsewhere during that delay, the extra “s” gets inserted at the new cursor position — which is completely unwanted behavior.

Could you please tell me how to disable this feature entirely?
