Couldn't agree more :-) I guess there's two aspects to this:

  1. Music
  2. Sound effects when particular things happen (e.g. a piece lands, a row is removed, etc)

If you have any suggestions for sources for either of these I'd be happy to look into adding them in (or obviously if you're interested feel free to submit a PR).

If I do add sound in I'll also add settings to control this, as I know some players (like me) prefer no sound.
