Cannot execute pod install after upgrade to 2.44.0

Hey,

after updating to 2.44.0, our build fails with the following error during pod install:
Unable to find compatibility version string for object version 70.

The default object version was changed from 54 to 70.
Any idea what we can do to fix it?

@yonaskolb hi! How to fix that? Xcodegen is installed on our CI via brew and new version is broke our builds

Looks like xcodeVersion is not working

We were running into the same issue and temporarily fixed it by installing xcodegen via mint as that allows installing older versions. Maybe that helps in the meantime.

brew update
brew install mint
mint install yonaskolb/xcodegen@2.43.0
export PATH="$PATH:/Users/runner/.mint/bin" # Make xcodegen available

Also I temporarily fixed it by downloading previous version binary file from releases and adding it to repo
