Install an application template

Enter the php container:

    composer create-project yiisoft/app /app

Open in your browser http://127.0.0.1:8000

When running Apache you need a configuration like the following to use enablePrettyUrl in .htaccess in your public public folder:

    RewriteEngine on
    # If a directory or a file exists, use it directly
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    # Otherwise forward it to index.php
    RewriteRule . index.php
