tags for new/deprecated parameters and functions

Some libraries have tags to highlight parameters or functions that have been introduced or deprecated in a given release.
For example stripplot from Seaborn.

Since we're starting to have a few releases and sometimes add functions or change parameters, do you think this could be useful? For example if someone tries to use a function but has an old XGI version and it fails, they look at the documentation and the tag makes them realise the function is recent and they may not have the latest release.
