After debugging, it looks like the atlas is incomplete. The .skel file references a region named “Arm_Lower_L”, but this region is missing from the atlas. As a result, the file can’t be opened at runtime. While Spine Editor allows this, the runtime requires the atlas to be complete and to match the .skel file one-to-one.

You may need to regenerate or fix the atlas so that all regions defined in the .skel are included. @Randombirdnoise

It may be related to the version of the Windows system. I also encountered similar prompts on Win7, but after switching to Win11, the application ran normally.
