Venktesh Viswanathan is a Postdoctoral researcher at Web Information Systems group of the Faculty of Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS/EWI), Delft University of Technology.
Prior to joining the WIS group, Venktesh was a PhD candidate at IIIT-Delhi and a Prime Minister fellow working at the intersection of IR and NLP for content curation and enrichment in online learning platforms. Venktesh’s goal is to create robust generative and retrieval pipelines that can reason over heterogeneous sources for solving knowledge intensive tasks like complex QA. I am also interested in explainable fact checking of complex claims through multi-step reasoning.
