Is Fusion no longer needed?

The documentation mentions a dependency on the Fusion library, but I couldn't find any calls to Fusion in the code. Is it no longer needed?

It's a submodule of a submodule. You don't need to explicitly install it, it gets built in as a static dependency.

For the open-source XREAL driver specifically, it is, since they didn't provide an SDK. All the other supported vendors provided an SDK with the fusion algorithm built-in, so for those devices it's not using the git submodule.
